Decades after the Iranian revolution we have become lost in a labyrinth of ideologies. Our identity sways haphazardly between entangled histories and the modernity. Any demand for social justice and identity is suppressed by the system. Growth narrows, and hope fades. “Labyrinth” explored the socio-psychological experiences of Iran’s post-revolutionary generations, sharing a window in the experience of a repressed youth, unemployment and anxiety for the future.

With the increase of the economic crisis in Iran and the existence of severe economic inflation, starting a family and buying a house in Iran has become one of the main problems of the youth. The government dictating them to start a family and have children for the youth to rejuvenation the society. To enforce this decree, the police were ordered to physically remove the veil from any woman who wore it in public. After the revolution in 1979 the Hijab has once again become a symbol, this time of the ideology and power of a regime over its people. In both opposing regimes, the female body became an ideological tool as well as media's propaganda.
