In major cities in Iran, cafes blend Western aesthetics with Iranian creativity, serving as hubs for intellectual and artistic exchange. Under Iran’s theological regime, cafés have become rare sanctuaries where youth can socialize, express themselves, and momentarily escape strict societal constraints. This project goes beyond capturing images; it tells the story of a generation navigating life under a system that often conflicts with their aspirations and identities. My photographs serve as a testament to their resilience, creativity, and the quiet revolutions unfolding in their daily lives.
